March 2015 Monthly Meeting

This meeting will be held on Sunday March15th 2015 at the St. Xavier's Primary School in St. Joseph.

To get there you go along the Eastern Main Road to St. Joseph,
- turn into St Joseph Road at the traffic lights at the Eastern Credit Union La Joya Complex,
- take a right turn at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church,
- then a left turn onto a short intersection,
- then a right turn that leads into the premises of St Xavier's Primary School.

Monthly Show Table

There will be the monthly show table so do bring along your flowering orchids for judging.

Monthly Plant Raffle

There will be a raffle of an Orchid Plant and the price is two (2) chances for $5.00.

Distribution of Prizes

Prizes won at the October 2013 Show and the June 2014 Show will be presented at this month monthly meeting.

Other

The Society has received an invitation to participate in the Horticultural Society of Trinidad & Tobago flower show on Saturday March 28th and Sunday March 29th 2015 at the Trinidad Country Club in Maraval.
Those members, who are not entering their cut flowers for the Barbados Orchid Society Show in Barbados, can bring their plants/cut flowers for the Society's display at the HSTT show.
The Society had already committed to mounting a display at the Barbados Orchid Society Show for the same weekend of March 28th and March 29th 2015.
The Management Committee is appealing to members for plants/cut flowers for the Society's display at the HSTT.flower show.

South Orchid Show 2015

The Venue for the South Orchid Show 2015 is the Southern Academy of Performing Arts UTT Campus.
The dates of the South Orchid Show are Saturday May 9th and Sunday May 10th 2015.
The Show Chairperson for this show is Mr. Michael Green.
